This refresher module is designed to reinforce proper FMCSA pre-trip trailer inspection procedures. It highlights critical inspection points such as frame rails, crossmembers, landing gear, brakes, tires, doors, and hinges. Many roadside violations and safety hazards occur when these items are overlooked. Completion of this course ensures drivers understand the importance of a thorough walk-around and can identify common defects before hitting the road.
